Deloitte has committed to reducing absolute scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 90% by 2040 from a 2019 base year and reaching net-zero GHG emissions across our value chain by 2040.
93% of the electricity Deloitte purchased in FY24 was renewable. Additionally, Deloitte US has recently contracted to bring new renewable energy to the grid, through a renewable power purchase agreement.
Deloitte’s fleet has advanced from 39% electric and hybrid-electric vehicles in FY2023 to 50% in FY2024.
Deloitte’s total GHG emissions were 1.4M tons of CO2e in FY2024 compared to 1.5M tons CO2e in FY2019. GHG emissions per FTE were 3.2 tons CO2e per FTE in FY2024 compared to 4.9 tons of CO2e in FY2019.
